- Geocoding Web Service
- G-Serv
is a Web service delivering
geocoding functions to multiple applications.
G-Serv
enables organisations to consolidate licensing of
geocoding technologies as well as spatial data sets.
Enabling the true centralisation of geocoding functions
common to spatial and database applications.
-
- G-Serv
provides a tool for the construction of custom spatial
databases, from sources such as G-NAF or a state based
address points data, to be used to match address
information. Traditional geocoding solutions offer bundled
spatial databases.

Components
|
|
- Geocode
Web Service
- The
geocoder component drives the geocoding functions and the
address matching strategies.
-
- Administration
- The
administration tool provides an interface to control
particular aspects of the geocoder, to set the matching
strategies, and schedule batch geocoding processes.
-
- Spatial
Databases
- The
spatial databases contain the address and boundary information
that the geocoder uses to match input addresses using the
configured match strategies.
-
- Compiler
- The
spatial data compiler is an interface to upload spatial
databases (address or boundary) into G-Serv.
